Yep, no joke. It is an annual event, cutting, splitting, hauling and stacking 80 cord of firewood for a Christian Camp I volunteer for. A lot of the guys are from PA who come up every year to help out. It is a lot of work, but its nice to make new friends too.
A lot of people helped out, but 80 cords is a lot of wood!
Here is a 1 minute before, then a 40 second video after the 2.5 day woodapollusaa!!

I have no intention of traveling to my grave in a well manicured body; instead I am going to slide into heaven with a big power turn, totally wore out with busted knuckles, jump off my dozer loudly yelling, Woo Hoo, another Shepard has just arrived!

That is awesome...and yes a small world!
I did not work directly with a Pete, but rather a Tom, BJ, and Al (an older gentleman).
I have been meaning to follow up on Facebook with some of those guys. We often get so geared up in the work that needs to be done that we forget camp is just as much about friendships too. But I have to follow up and not end the interaction at only one day per year. That is not what it is about.
