Hi,

Maybe someone will find a nice 350 for me. I'd be happy with what I had, even: A straight 350 with outside manual blade and no reverser. But, not one that needs a bunch of work. I know. They don't exist. Why is it folks always find neat cars in barns but not crawlers??? The crawlers are always outside in the weeds for the past few decades.... :P

Happy Christmas to all!!

Stan

I don't often get to our house in New Hampshire (I live in Maine), but took the time to get away from the wife and outlaws (also known as the inlaws) to go see a member of the board here known at PonghogVT. He is a nice guy to visit, and feel like I attended John Deere Bulldozer University after visiting with him. We talked bulldozers of course, but he found a nice 350C bulldozer that was in nice shape, so they are out there Stan. He could tell you more about the "find" than me, but said it only needed a water pump as far as he could tell.

Myself, I want to/don't want to sell mine. It is in really good shape, and I really need it, but property taxes and my bout with cancer this year may require it. But Maine to your house is too far a haul anyway, and I am forever trying to think of other ways to pay my property taxes; something that is obnoxious here in Maine.

As for Christmas, maybe at 43 I am getting sentimental, but I am glad I made the 3 hour round trip to see ole PondhogVT. Granted it gave me an excuse to get away from the Outlaws, but making the time to see people also means something. I did not need anything, no other motivation, just a chance to say, "how you doing ole chap" and do some bulldozer talk in person. Someday I will have to bring Katie along with me so she can meet Mark, but I think that might be too much, heck it might just make him blush.

Always late to the party; but Merry Christmas to everyone regardless.

I have no intention of traveling to my grave in a well manicured body; instead I am going to slide into heaven with a big power turn, totally wore out with busted knuckles, jump off my dozer loudly yelling, Woo Hoo, another Shepard has just arrived!

Hi,

Thanks for the pointer to that 350. I will have to pass on it as the timing isn't right. In another week, we ought to be finished with equipping the new screenprinting shop. This week, I am assembling the new automatic press. That thing has more bits than a crawler and it comes disassembled in six crates. :P
