gooseneck hitch/install

Post by dtoots1 » Tue Apr 10, 2018 7:33 am

Have many of you fellers installed your own gooseneck hitches? Am considering doing so on my 1/2 GMC, talked to the shop and they say they don't have to take the bed off to install, so am wondering just how much of job it is? B & W turnover

comments??

I’ve installed 2 B&W gooseneck hitches in Ford trucks. Neither were that bad to install. Hardest part was triple checking before using the 4 inch hole saw on a perfectly good bed!

Yes...from what i am finding out, the b&w setup is a bit involved but they do NOT require drilling holes in the frame itself, seems all parts are made specifically for each model and they do have my 1/2 ton model in stock, and the bed does not even have to come off.... a bit pricey but overall seems to be the best choice.
