Rust converters

Anybody have any luck with rust converting paints? Tried Por 15 less than impressed.

That is the only one I have used as far as paint, spectacular results on one piece I used it on, don't have real good handle on any of the others, they are either gone, or concealed.

phosphoric acid (brush it on liberal) from home depot converts rust to black and prevents further after 24 hours you can then paint it.

Black max is what I use, rust encapsulator. Then Lubra seal over it. That’s if I can’t sand blast it and paint. Then shoot it with fluid film.
