now thats a good one.. thats about as good as me pulling a f350 crew cab full of people, that was towing a 25 foot cattle trailer with 2 hourses n it up a big hill in my town cus his tranny was broke.. and i pulled all that weight with a lil 4+4 jeep cherkee with the 6 cylender n it.. only reason i did it was becuse he said i couldent do it.. ended up pulling him into a gravel parking lot and never spun a wheel..
Sounds like you got the 420 there just in time, or it may have been a worse day for him!
(1) JD Straight 450 crawler dozer with manual outside blade; (2) JD 2010 diesel crawler loaders; (1) JD 2010 diesel dozer with hydraulic 6-way blade; (2) Model 50 backhoe attachments, misc. other construction equipment
An hour sooner, and he would have a pretty good chunk of change still in his pocket. Now the towing company and the body shop are going to get it.
Can't realy fault the kid in the tow truck, at 35 degrees in wet snow, nothing with rubber tires would have done it unless it had chains. Again reinforces why I like tracks. If fact, a couple more hours of work on the 420, and I am going back out in the blizzard and make the kids a bigger snow hill.
