Anybody notice that the next guy to register will be number 800? And to think a couple of years ago we started out at zero.

Hi,

I'm up for the Road Trip, but I think I'll leave my crawler at home. It's a long way from NC to ND and fuel costs are up. Besides, it's just a 420, and there's plenty of them around. Now, if I had something special, that'd be different!

We are planning on having our annual threshing and plowing day on the weekend after Labor Day. If anyone wants to come up, they are welcome to. Nothing fancy, just us and the neighbors goofing off.

So Lavoy, have you had a chance to tell our 800th member that the crawler meet is at their place?

No I didn't, thought about it. It is getting to the point we should have a meeting somewhere, sometime. Like I said, anybody that wants to is welcome to come up here for out threshing bee, just don't expect anything fancy.
Maybe the thing to do is have a get toghether at one of the Gathering of the Green shows in Moline, that is kind of centrally located.

Hi,

Hey! I like that idea! That would be about as close to the center as we can get, plus there's other things to do once we've run out of crawler stories to tell! Well, maybe that won't actually happen, but there would be lots of other things to eyeball! :P

They have the show every other year in March, not sure if they had it this year, or if it is coming up.
