i had went to a thashing show in nowthen,mn featuring cat tractors,i had run across a early d4 or 5 size cat with 3 banger diesel in it 3 pump lines 3 injectors, common block and head, i wish i could describe the tractor better but it was raining pretty good. i guess my question is why, and how common?and was it there own? not real up on the cat just woundering never seen one

I think that is a 35 or 45 diesel, they become the D6 or D7 if I remember correctly, but not positive.

there was a d7 there but it had large 4 cylinder i belive??? that had paired cylinders seperated heads started on gas. now this 3 cylinder i dont remember driven mag off the pump how it start? damn that rain i just could not get a good look at it. it was a crapy day but the beer tasted good
