GC-

I don't know any personally but I think I've heard of a site called http://www.getloaded.com where you can post loads you need moved. Drivers pay to search the loads on that site and will contact you and see if you can strike a deal. You will have to setup a free account to post your load.

What size load are you looking at hauling and how far? Some of the flatbed tow trucks can handle small crawlers. Might be worth a call.

I don't know what part of the country you are in, but a friend of mine used Bob Anderson Trucking out of Richardton, ND, to ship a couple tractors. He was not on a tight schedule, so they fit him in when they had an empty trailer going in his direction. It was very reasonable for him. The phone number is 800-421-8701. I would be interested to hear what you end up doing, as I have had the same questions before.

I have a guy that hauls for me, he is reasonable, and good to work with. He runs central US for the most part. His name is Willie, his cell number is 402-740-1303. He has ramps and a winch as well.

I just got a load moved from Iowa to North Carolina. He is out of PA and likes to run in the Central and East/Southeast areas and has a semi-trailer. I think he was very reasonable on his rate, considering the price of fuel. Charlie Shanobrook - Cell # 717-424-8148.
