I like Tractors
The first tractor I ever owned was a 1958 Simplicity 101 Landlord I got it 2 years ago when I was 12, it was in good running order actually I drove it home. The tractor is great i made it a little blade for pushing saw dust from in front of the mill. It has a 12 hp. briggs 1 banger motor but a gear reduction to pull a house. It is very Cool
I have a 1968 simplicty with a 8 hp single banger. I bought it used years ago with several attachments. I got a set of duals, belly mount sickle mower, roto-tiller, blade, and mower deck. The guy across the road had an exact model and I asked what attachments he had. He had the mower deck and snow blower. He hated the snow blower because it was too heavy. I swapped him even for my blade and his snow-blower.
I also have a 1948 Gibson that uses a lever to steer and not a steering wheel. I worked on the wisconsin 8 hp engine and repainted it for parade material.
I have a Honda 2-cylinder water cooled mower.
I have a 1948 Ferguson TO-20 tractor that I rebuilt the engine years ago. It has a nice front loader on it.
I have my dad's 8N ford that he bought new in 1952.
My 1972 International 1066 is about a 125 HP tractor turned up a bit. Funny thing, it always starts even in the winter with no block heater. A quick shot of ether with the switch and there she goes.
I have a 1990 Case IH Magnun 7120 (150 hp) tractor with front wheel assist. Hang it up on starting it in the winter.
My ~1964 2010 JD dozer with loader has been shown before in this forum.
I have a 1938? Farmall F-12 that eats dog's tails. The open universal joint kind of caught the dog off guard one day. Yelp!
We have a 1930 JD General Purpose two lunger with a flat head. We removed the steel lugs off the rear wheels. I worked on the enige and the compression was so good, even with the stop-cocks open and towing it, we can drag the wheels. Towing is easier than flipping flywheels.
I am part owner of a Mead Mighty Mouse small dozer. It has a 8hp wisconsin with tracks about 6 inches wide. The whole unit is about 6 feet long. More parade material.
I have a home-made from my Uncle that has a winsconsin 8 hp, a model A tranny, model T front and rear axle, and angle iron. He made it before the garden tractor era took hold.
