JD Crawlers Picture Game

Post by 1949JDMC » Tue Feb 15, 2011 12:56 pm

Saw this on another forum, and it went forever! I dunno if it will work here, but if it does, it at least gets some cool pictures posted.

How the game goes: Pick a place, person, or thing to take a picture with that involves having an John Deere Crawler in it. The first person who responds with a picture that can satisfy the challenge will get the honor to pick the next request. Please try to set the challenge doable so the game can continue onward. If the challenge cannot be meet within 24 hours, then that person can go ahead and pick a different request. I hope that makes sense...

Some simple rules:
1) No Photoshop
2) Lets keep the request SIMPLE AND DOABLE so the game can
move along faster! If the challenge cannot be meet within 24 hours, then that person can go ahead and pick a different request.
3) Please only post pictures of YOUR John Deere, this way you will actually go out and take pics to meet the demand.
4) No duplicates Allowed, let's be creative.
5) You cannot FULFILL your OWN REQUEST.

First challenge, shouldn't be too hard for anyone:
Your Crawler on top of a pile of debris that you have made with it.

Hey this is a crawler and a Deere .My niece took this from her phone early in January I had a pile of that stuff that took 360 plus rock truck load to get to that point the pile was height of the top of cab and just minutes before that I knocked it down and was waiting on the next rock truck when she showed up that old 790 D LC has been a great machine and she is a cold one to run so guess who got stuck in it .Digitup.

Incentive to get stuck? If it happens, and I have a camera handy. Handy is the key word there.
Can we can add pictures of previous requests at any time, as long as we restate the current request at the end?
If it's worth doin', it's worth doin' right.

Ya they are both Deere and if the operator was on top of it all he had to do was drop the grapple arch and work himself out with it .they are a lot like running a backhoe if you work the skidders double arch you will slowly work your way out forward with a load or backward without I had a Cat double arch rented and one of the dozer operators backed it over a rock cliff .He went for a dozer and I worked it out before he got back but you drop the load long before that point or work your way out with it .Willyr what is your request !!

I had my Tonka dozer out yesterday and got it stuck in the snow. It could not move under its own power. I think this makes the challenge for being stuck.

So I had to get the trusty John Deere 4WD tractor rolling and pull it out of the snow drift. She eased it out without much effort.

My challenge is to post a picture of a non-running dozer in the woods or fencerow that is covered with grape vines or better yet, has a tree growing up through the framework.

I know that old crawler isn't goin any where on it's own .And I have this feeling that John Deere tractor isn't getin it out under it's own power either but I guess it was under the lax guidelines though '')ll:
