Some time back there was a thread on repairing the chrome rods on
hydrailic cylinders I have not been able to find it.
The point of this thread was that it was possible to repair minor scratches and pitting by coating the rod with a specififc type of epoxy and sanding it.
Anybody recall this thread and the type of epoxy?
