the pink model was made with higbn density foam cutted with a heated wire ?

pour aluminum in mold and it takes the shape of the foam
rough cast aluminum fin with sprue attached later to be cut off

sprue cut off ...
sprue cut off ...fitted .....welded......ground,balanced and as you can see in the next picture..........like new again!

I have been repairing boat props for 15 years.......and welding aluminum projects for 25 years .......to many pics to list here and weigh down lavoys great site.............just thought guys like all of you can appreciate things like this...looking forward to a great time here on this site.................thanks juke

I've been working metal and doing shirtsleeve repairs for 30 years but anything I've done, or built, pales in comparision to what you've shown here. I must say I proudly tip my hat to the master.
