Hit n miss engines

Post by gus » Fri Aug 03, 2012 6:39 pm

Where is a good place to get information?? My brother has one we weren't able to find any information on. There's a name tag plate of a hardware company and an engine plate with serial # and 3HP on it. But, there's no engine name or manuf name.

He has around 12 engines, most will or have been run and quite a few project ones. My favorites were one running an ice cream maker, a 12HP Sears Economy and a big 80 HP Western mounted on a truck flatbed trailer. The 80 is really neat running. :D :D I took some video of it running but haven't reviewed it to see how it came out.

If you can, post a few pictures and I'll see if I can dig it up in one of the books I have.

I am pretty sure this link does not infringe on Lavoy's parts busness so I will post it.
Should there be any reason it should not be posted, you know what to do Lavoy.
