440I TLB in Auction

440I TLB in Auction

I found PurpleWave dot com has a 440I TLB (tractor loader/backhoe) in an auction ending April 10. It is in Hutchinson, KS (nearly 500 mi from me). It is a 1958 and has a Deere 71 Loader and an unknown Backhoe (not a Deere). Needs some TLC. Here is a link http://www.purplewave.com/cgi-bin/mnlis ... 0410/E3151.

That hoe is an old [built for Ford] chain swing. Last I heard you would have fun finding chain or connectors for chain . I never had one by luck but my competition did and it dam near broke him keeping it running in the seventy's.Digitup.

Well someone thought it was worth $1760. That is somewhat over scrap value, I think.
