I am looking for late 80's husqvarna 281 XP chain break handle....the metal one not the plastic. anyone have one laying around in their shop, barn, Garage????????it's a discontinued part , i checked ebay , craigs list and local shops......nodda..please help!

That looks like the metal brake handle on my old 61's (I have 2, on one I have a 36" bar) I wonder if it is the same part. I don't have a spare but a while back I was looking for the main handle and saw many parts on E-bay for the 61.

the whole side case and brake won't interchange..dealer told me the internal brake band in relation to the bar mounting studs are way different. but just the handle might work..

...husky dealer also said the next closest saw to the 281xp would be the Husky 2100.. I'll look closer at the 61 pics , maybe I can just rob the handle off it and will work....thanks for the insite scottyb...
