My groomer is having a good winter...

Post by Scottyb » Tue Mar 11, 2014 8:25 pm

Recall this project I posted some time ago? I made this one good Alpine from three parts machines. It works very well with this custom groomer and, I have an attachment that will lay down a nice cross country ski trail. The Alpine is all original except for modifications to the single ski to help it turn better. Electric start and two electric adjustments for the front and rear of the groomer.

The good news is that...This year (finally) it has performed very well on the snowmobile trails that circle and leave our place to join to the club trails not to far off. The Trans-Canada trail goes close by as well, and we meet people who are on cross country rides! We have nice snow, and the sledding has been great, hopefully we will get two more weeks in before it gets wet. For now it is deep and dry. The best part of winter is here!

Anyone else have a home made groomer in service ?
