deer season

Post by Pat » Thu Jan 29, 2015 9:43 am

This is my new deer rifle. Had a successful season. lol Lavoy, can I re-sight it in at your range? In the interests of full disclosure, I built this from a parts set with an ATF approved side plate and bolt, so it only fires semi-auto. Just showing it off.

Hi,

Bring it over to Lillington and loan it to my wife. She had two 200 foot rows of some sort of special Uber Pumpkins last year. The deer waited for the fruit to get around the size of a basketball and then ate the entire crop. Fruit, leaves, vines and all.

She would love to set up a 'nest' and wipe them out. Looks like you have exactly what she needs there ! :P

You know, that would look pretty good mounted to the hood of a 440!

Lavoy, 440 is too slow. Gator makes for "Rat Patrol" moves. Gus, it does pretty well out to 600 yards. Got the parts from Sarco years ago. Ohio Ordinance makes the approved side plates and bolt. Pat

Good point, but a coat of OD green on the 440, and you could pretend it is a Sherman!

Haven't ever been around such a creature. Where do you get a belt or do you have to make them?

I was thinking about a gattling gun too. If I could find plans for one I might try building one. They are legal too.

LOL pretty cool!

You could shoot that here too!

I'd want one in Browning M2 .50 though!

Lavoy, can't pretend it's on a Sherman without a least a 75 MM gun too. better yer a 90, 105 or a 120! Really like that 120 smooth bore!

Hi,

Well, I can't make them display, either. So, I turned them into clickable links.
They are small, like thumbnails.

Thanks Stan!

I can't figure that one out either as i Mod that site where the pics are parked, i'll fiddle around with it...

i also have the saddle holster for the garands, next time i have the 40C out i'll lash it on the crawler and shoot some more pics. :D

the only way i can get a 200 yard range at my place is to take the crawler across the marsh and back drag the grass so i can see the target area.
