Oh BOY, do I need one of these!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like the fact that it has steel tracks; so many of these newer crawlers have rubber tracks which wear out quickly in abrasive conditions. I guess the Struck has steel tracks but it isn't much of a crawler either.

Hi,
I wonder if they can get the blade unit as well? That's from another company (also in Italy), but maybe it's not a problem to get one since it appears that happens over there much like there were several attachment companies for the old JD iron.....
I'd love to have the C55 with the largest track set and that blade. The prices are quite reasonable for the machine, too. I wonder if they have a credit division that's as nice to deal with as JD? I doubt it. I've not found any other outfit so easy to work with as JD Credit is. Banks don't understand the appeal of equipment. All they know about are cars and houses it seems. It'd be fun to see the look on a typical bank loan officers' face when one went in to say they'd like $35k to finance a small bulldozer to use on the old homestead.....
I do wish that the JD version was offered here. I'd be on the phone to my dealer this minute. I'd love to buy a new machine to replace the 420c for work and then turn the old girl into a show machine (aka 'retirement' for the poor thing).
I guess I need to start a Dozer Account to save money specifically for something new.
Oh, and I always have a lottery ticket. I buy one that's good for 6 months at a time. Just the one, though, and always the same numbers. I don't expect to win, but if I don't have at least one ticket, I have no chance at all. I know that with one, I have practically no chance, but there's an infinite improvement from zero to practically zero!
Hey, I might not win the Big One on Saturday (I already know I didn't win diddly/squat last night), but I might win enough to buy one of these with cash.

Lottery tickets
Alrighty... I have a ticket for yesterday that has not been checked yet and one for tonite that has not been called yet...if 50/50 is the rule, then what are my odds ?? No new dozer is the probable answer. It looks like it costs about 5% per year increase (compounded of course) since about 1960. It was alot then.. and now. Mora
