It arrived yesterday!!

Post by n29we » Mon Jan 26, 2009 6:30 pm

Well the crawler arrived yesterday and she's a beauty!! :) I had it hauled in an enclosed trailer for the protection. It was really cold, 15 degrees, and of course it wouldn't start!! :x We winched it out of the trailer, then the fun began. It still wouldn't run. :? Long story short 2 and half hours later we had it my garage to warm up. We had to lift it with a Bobcat with forks to bring it up the hill to my garage. It sat in the heated garage for a couple of hours and then it fired right up! Then some how the trans got locked into 2 gears at once and wouldn't move!! :? I took the trans top off straightened out the gears put the top on and away she went. :) Ran it around today, messed with the carb a little, tightened the steering brake on the right side a little and she's runnning around nicely. What a nice addition to my collection!!! Just thought I'd let you guys know how I made out!! Jim O :D
