Not sure what I will do with it yet... but here it is. Runs Awesome... Goes forward and backwards... But No Steering.
Has a huge Logging winch and arch on it.
Debatting wether to Part it out or fix it.

KenP wrote:I like the winch! Machine looks well used, but largely intact. Would be a shame to part it out just because the steering clutches are stuck. If you part it, you'll end up having to split the tracks and pull the finals anyway.
I see you're in Newport. I'm just up the road from you in Bradford.

Hi Ken,
Do you live on a curve on Route 103? I think I've seen your crawler sitting there. If this rig had a bucket on it... I would keep it for sure.
The winch is forsale. I'm really leaning towards fixing it or selling it complete without the winch.
I'll know more when I get it home. Have to wait for the road its on to dry up... Mud Season in NH. LOL

KenP wrote:Although I know exactly where you mean, that's not me. Haven't seen that crawler move since its been sitting there, but don't go up 103 that way very often.
I go into Newport now and then shopping, but always go up the back way thru the Lempster area.
If you come down 103 frequently, you know where the covered bridge is near the intersection with 114. I'm about 10-15 minutes back in the woods after you go thru the covered bridge.

Cool.. I know about where that is too. Did some offroading down that way a cpl years ago.
I live on Unity Rd near the golf coarse in Newport

Nice looking winch and arch! They seem prety hard to come by. Wonder if that arch would bolt up on my 350? I live just a bit north of you and Ken, in Canaan. Ditto on the mud season! This is probably the worst I've seen in many years!

You are the 3rd person to ask that question. Maybe someone reading this can tell us??
Can anybody tell us what models this Arch will fit... Besides the 440 its currently on?

Depending on how it mounts, probably 1010 and 440 only.

Wish I had some money, I'd sure like a winch on my 420. The mounting hardware is probably different though.
Did JD make a log arch for the 420?
