Help me identify - ideas on price for sale

Post by Mulefan » Sun Sep 12, 2010 4:04 pm

I have what I believe is a JD1010 crawler with an 810 loader. We have owned this beauty for about 15 years and used it for some demolition and heavier work on our farm. Last fall we had the fuel tank boiled out and cleaned up - the injector pump rebuilt - and replaced the hoses.

It runs good - everything seems to work just fine. There is a leak of the ATF fluid - we have to add that for long workouts.

Located in northern Illinois near Rockford. I have not been able to find a serial number for the tractor - the loader SN is 5712.

This link should show some pictures of the crawler:

Any ideas on a sale price range would be much appreciated.

Thanks for any info you can provide.

Hey, Ill take it off your hands for the price of hauling it away. It is a very nice looking machine. Should bring a good price. Good luck. Tom.

Tractor looks to be in real nice original shape. I would want at least $5-7K for it, that is up here in Canada eh.

If like the 2010s, the serial number tag for early range S/Ns would have been on the right side engine block, and for later S/Ns would have been on the bellhousing.
(1) JD Straight 450 crawler dozer with manual outside blade; (2) JD 2010 diesel crawler loaders; (1) JD 2010 diesel dozer with hydraulic 6-way blade; (2) Model 50 backhoe attachments, misc. other construction equipment

Thanks for the responses - I will do more looking for the serial number.

The tractor is for sale - I would love for someone who would appreciate it and get good use out of it to be able to enjoy it. If we can come in the $6000 area or better she could have a new home.
