Hi,
I presume you mean the logs, not the crawler, right?![Wink ;)](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
Looks like you have the same Hour Meter version I have - tin cover over the hole brand! Ours burned out somewhere back around 1972.![Razz :P](./images/smilies/icon_razz.gif)
The Yellow Stripe looks good, too. Mine has been White for decades. I think I'll repaint just the Yellow part as I take the tin off to rebuild the cooling system. The Green paint is still original and pretty decent looking, so I think I'll just re-do the Yellow. I've been trying to keep the old girl as original as I can, but I *am* growing tired of it having a White Stripe instead of a Yellow one.
I was using it this past Saturday and it started peeing coolant. I figure the radiator repair that dad did to it in 1975 - when the water pump decided it needed a new bearing and let him know by running the fan blade into the radiator - finally let go. I have a new radiator, pump, hoses, etc coming from Lavoy, so the old girl will get some new parts.![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
Might as well do a little painting while I'm at it.
Heck, I might even re-paint the Yellow on the track frames while I'm at it. They haven't had paint since 1965!![Razz :P](./images/smilies/icon_razz.gif)
Then, I can post some pix of it on here without feeling bad about how it looks.
