Glad you didn't get hurt in this incident! Looks like it could have been bad. Be careful, we need you! Sam

I would have said that was now in perfect position to remove the front idler and send it to me had you not already dragged it out.

That is why I hate working next to drop-offs with the thing. It is so stable you tend not to think about it, but if the track ever got far enough over you better haul ass off the thing. I built a snow pile this winter, probably 10 feet high and near about straight down on one side and the top only wide enough to hold the crawler as long as the snow did not collapse... Now that is some pucker factor.

Just heard from the machine shop last week, no damage to block or crank, so they are being machined right now.

Hi,

And, the good news, such as it is: The expensive parts are OK.

Later!

Not only "expensive", but new parts are N/A for human beings.

Glad to see you're ok. With all that water maybe you guys should grow cranberries or wild rice instead of sugarbeats and corn....

Yeah it's been a nasty wet and cold year up here too... the mosquitos, ticks, and dandilions are doing well though.

Wish you all would share. Its dry as a bone in east NC. Corn is shriveling. Some is tasseling at waist high! Ponds drying up. In the 90's and no rain forcast.

Speaking of corn, looks like the crows picked out every single germinated corn i had, ate the whats left of the seed and flew away. Only a few hundred of um, but enough to get me mad.
