Hello from Germany

Post by 2010Crawler » Tue Dec 01, 2015 11:37 am

Hello Lavoy,
thanks for the desired registration with you. I work in my free time with a lot of that has to do with John Deere.
I've only been recently owner of a John Deere 2010 Crawler. The type is very rare to find in Germany. I hope to meet many like-minded on this page, to talk or to help each other with tips.
Maybe someone is registered here who speaks German. This makes it sometimes easier during communication.
Excuse my language, I'll try my best.
Many greetings
Siggi

Hello everybody,
can someone tell me how many 2010c have been built at that time?
In Germany you will find this type very rarely.
The question would be only of self-interest.
greetings from Germany

1136 gas 8183 diesel check this out http://www.johnnypopper.com/weirddeere/ ... Wheel.html

shame they let water get in the engine rest looks to be in fair/good shape should be worth what it it taking to rebuild engine ....... CHECK the bottom bores in the block and webs down to the Main Journals for CRACKS .....Was there any water or coolant in the block? these blocks wont take any amount of freeze and they WILL crack and then be junk NO repair only REPLACE

It has been made in the last 15 years under the open sky, water on the exhaust into the combustion chamber. The seat of the socket plate still looks very good and the cylinder I try first cleaned and then we'll see if she'll come again. The engine has not been made for many hours. One can see in the one cylinder nor the honing marks.

Thank you for the Link.

that liner plate is very pricey BUT if there is any pitting near the top of the cylinders then you will have to replace the liner plate .... good thing is your pistons are probably still well use-able

I am going to clean everything first and then decide which parts are to be re-done. The 2010 is no longer operate fully to the old days. But they should run again !!!

Where contributions not be put into another category prefer?

Thank you.
I would ask at this point a question.
Was there the 2010C also in green?
For the agricultural design, for example?

The green or "ag" crawlers carry a different serial number prefix and were not available with the HLR transmission. There were not many made, all diesel, about 136 if memory serves.

Thank you for the info Lavoy.
I must also first check a little, because ask me some interested friend why the 2010C is yellow. I noticed are the Model 2010C with Ebay with green and yellow color. Unfortunately, these are not available in Germany and the shipping from the US to Germany is quite costly.
greetings
