Hey guys,
I've been reading through this forum for a while now and have learned a great deal about these old machines. I inherited this 1959 430c from my uncle which got it from my granddad. He bought it new at the family John Deere dealership.
About 30 years ago it was repainted but whomever did the paint job didn't quite get the color scheme right. Unfortunately it sat outside for the past 15 or 20 years in the sand in Western Oklahoma. Runs ok but the clutches are way out of adjustment or completely rusted. For the most part its a pretty clean looking machine.

I put that piece of strait pipe on the existing exhaust until I get a new muffler.

Thanks, I've had it about a year or so. I'm lucky having one that's in this condition but of course there is always something to work on

Nice looking crawler Clint! Welcome to the board, do you have any plans for your 3 point hitch? That's a great tool to have on a crawler!
