I have decided to do one more thing with the Lindeman model and put it in a display case.
I'm thinking of figuring out a way to easily secure this display so someone can't just walk off with it and take it to the tractor shows with me when I show my crawler.

I don't know how I missed this thread.... That is amazing, that is some of the most intricate detail work I've seen done.

With the weather getting warmer, I can now get back to work out in the garage and I built this stand to display the model next to my crawler at the tractor shows this year.

The bottom of the base for the model has a pin fastened to it.

This pin fits down thru a hole when it is set on the stand.

A small padlock is attached to this pin to secure the model to the stand.
I have a section of cable and a padlock to secure the stand to something at the shows so no one can just walk off with the whole thing.

The pin can be folded flat, up into the cavity in the base of the model.

This allows the model to be set on a shelf for displaying it at home.
