So, I bought this loader at an auction...

Post by Kzinti » Wed May 12, 2021 5:43 pm

Another newbie story here. Back story: Uncle was a heavy equipment operator for decades, always loved watching him work. I was planning to get 20 acres in the country, build a house, and wanted something to use around the property in the near future. Just happened to be on an auction site, found a JD 350 tracked loader with a 5 tine ripper listed for $1100. Looked solid, even had photos posted from four years ago, where the owner had done a frame off restoration of everything, rewired it, even repainted it entirely. Sure, why not. Something told me to drop a bid of $1300, just for grins, and I won it. After waiting three months for a new key switch at the local JD dealer , an OMG long story in itself, I finally got to sit on it and start it up yesterday. I'm like a little kid with a new toy. Needs a couple minor things, but turned that switch, and it started right up. Woohoo!
