Hi,
I finally took my 440IC (1960) for its test drive on Sunday Feb 11th after rebuilding both final drives and steering clutches and everything worked fine. Yesterday I did some minor adjustments and used it to push snow/ice at our family farm in Eastern PA (pictures below).
The only thing I do not have back on are the sprocket sheilds as I will let them off for the time being so I can keep an eye on the finals (bolts, seals, etc).
I had to watch and stay off the slopes/hills because of the 3-4" sleet layer that became a solid sheet of ice.

I hooked up remote control like they have for airplanes now
This way I am not along for the ride like G Grant did in his post
Just kidding, but thinking about it putting remote control on it would not be to much of a problem. Would probably have to go to 12 volts though.
Yeah I made a big push the other weekend to get her back together again.
We had a heat wave, instead of single digits/low teens for the highs we had low 20's. Its good to have her running again after being apart for 15 months.

Thanks, according to your posts/pictures of your 1010 you have a long way to go. But I am sure it will be worth it when you have her done!
It looks like your 1010 was originally an ag machine (green) and than someone painted it yellow (also has a pto and 3 point).
I have some minor things to do on my 440 over the summer. I need to rebuild the hydraulic cylinders, add a ROPS off the back final drive mounting pads along with a scarifier that can attach to the ROPS frame(mine has the second hydraulic control valve that I can use to control scarifier). Also going to add a seat belt to keep me in the seat, I almost was thrown out of it a few times.
