I got tachs that have to be rebuilt. Hopefully I will get it done soon.

So I'm curious about the differences between the 1010 and the 2010.

I have a 1010 and the sprockets are mounted opposite of yours. Are you using sprockets off of another machine or is this a 2010 thing?

Are the engine bay side covers a cold weather option?

Do the 1010 and 2010 share the same chassis and drive train ?

Nice ROPS. Did you fab it?

The 2010 is basically the larger cousin of the 1010- the sucessor of the 2010 was the 450 series and the sucessor of the 1010 was the 350 series.

I am not sure if the side covers were an option or standard, but I do know that you don't see them on most 2010s so my guess is that they were an option for cold weather machines. My 2010 doesn't have them.

The sprockets are different between the 1010 and 2010- what you see in the pictures is typical for the 2010s.

They are called engine side shields, and are to protect the engine from branches and stuff when working in the woods.
