what would that type of crawler been used for, looks like something that you would buy for a young child, its cute in a wierd way........the metal looks very straight,great job whoever restored it......Mark

That is the marraige of an L or LA tractor with an MC undercarraige. I would like to see what they did about final drives and making it steer. I don't know if the L/LA wheel brakes would be stong enough to make it differential steer or not. Very good looking job, neat piece.
I just had the same type setup here done on a long hood B, but they used HG/OC3 Oliver undercarraige.

Lavoy is dead on. It's a novelity. This fellow had a MC with a bad engine and thought he would repower it with a L. He does used the L brake levers for steering, I'll have to get some shots of that when I''m down there again. He calls it a LC and has some believing Deere made this thing. It's all in fun. He has complete photos of the resto-convertion. It is really nicely done.
