hi,
I,ve found this one one the internet. Did Deere paint it like this?

Hugo
450 colour?
450 colour?
jd 350 mannheim build
Normally I would say no, but two things have me not so sure.
One, I just don't know what they did in Europe, so it is possible.
Two, if you look at the metal John Deere nameplates, the appear to have a kind of putrid yellow backbround. The only time I have ever seen this is on factory green industrial equipment. For some reason, they used a really terrible yellow instead of ag yellow. SOOOO, the answer for me would have to be a real definite, set in stone, can't be argued, hell if I know.

Deere will paint your dozer or grader or even your excavator green and ag yellow for no extra charge .We have a couple of townships up here that got green graders for years now and they would take a sticker kit for a 7700 combine and cut off a 0and put that decal on the 770 grader some years ago .I don't know what they do now but the paint colour policy still stands today.A large farm up here and customer of mine just got two new 544 J loaders in green and ag yellow this fall.Even your skidders can be speck ordered in industrial yellow .I would not change the colour of that one it may have came from the factory that colour . Run the serial #past some one at the local Deere industrial dealers .They can tell if it was sold new like that . Digitup.

Hi,
Yeah, it's always been that way. We had a good, large farm, customer back in the 70's that was an IH guy but loved the Deere 4020 (and follow-ons) line.
So, every year he'd order a new Deere painted IH red and white. We'd have a truck letter painter re-do that part in whatever the current IH style was. Odd, yes, but he got want he wanted, which is what's important.
later!
