A couple of rare ones

Post by Lavoy » Sat Jan 19, 2008 10:26 am

Forgot to post this earlier. This is 2 1010 Ag crawlers I had on the trailer to take out to the farm. Both are gassers, the front one is a 4 roller that only has a few hundred hours on it, and originally had a fireline plow on it in Texas. The back one is a 5 roller with a 76 blade.

Lavoy,

Very nice! While they are loaded up, just release the truck brakes and let it roll on over to South Carolina with them. LOL

Two nice looking projects! Lavoy, the five roller on the back looks like the muffler is on the wrong side for a gasser. Is that just an optical illusion or were there gas crawlers with the exhaust routed to the other side.

Bill,
Your right, I was thinking of the wrong crawler. The rear crawler is a diesel with 76 blade. When I got to the farm, I was going to take a pic with another 1010 Ag sitting with these two, and that one is a gas with 76 blade. For some reason, I was thinking I had both gassers here, but it was one of each.
Maybe this summer some time, I will line all three of them up and get a pic.

None of them are mine, the two on the trailer are a friend of mine's, the one at the farm is my brother's. The one on the front of the trailer is already sold to a member on this board. The back one I have to do some final drive work to, but it it not for sale as far as I know. My brother has decided to sell his so there is a 5 roller gas for sale.
