After reading the ROPS thread thought I would post a couple pics of my 440 with brush cage I built. It is made from 2" schedule 80 pipe. Roof is plated in 1/4" plate as are all the gusetts. Bolted and braced to finals with 1/2 in plate. Winch is 8000 pound Ramsey driven by a PTO driven hydraulic pump.
I believe the cage would work real well front to back but it was tough to strengthen it side to side. Hope to never test it.
Love my little machine.

Is the A-frame just above the winch used as a logging arch or for another purpose?
(1) JD Straight 450 crawler dozer with manual outside blade; (2) JD 2010 diesel crawler loaders; (1) JD 2010 diesel dozer with hydraulic 6-way blade; (2) Model 50 backhoe attachments, misc. other construction equipment
Thanks
Thanks for the appreciation. It was quite a project bring it back.
I forgot to add, the uprights on the fenders are bolted through to 6" long pieces of 5x5x1/2" angle iron which is bolted to the side frames. The set up in back of the finals worked out well.
The little arch is for dragging logs. The tab on the roof was going to be a mounting point for logging boom similar to what the JD 420's had as an option. A friend of mine still logs his place with a 420 towing a sled to load the logs on. I plan to finish it someday...
Last summer I put a septic field in with the dozer. Had to excavate a hole 23 feet wide, 45 feet long, and 2.5" deep. Little machine got it done. I need to find some more pics and post them.
Thanks.
