some silly things that shouldn't be done

I know my fellow john deere enthusists are predjudice at some machines but this is what i got and happy to share some mishaps that people do ,,, Its just that the ole cat e110b was to tha rescue again,,,,,,,

hooking up to the lil bobcat to pull it out the marsh

rehooking up to stop the lil bobcat from flipping over

Image
had to get the neighbors deere 790 to help pull to stop my excavator from sliding off the levee ,, had bout 2 1/2 ft on each side my tracks to play with,,

Image
got her up on the levee finally after 3hrs of dragging her thru the marsh to get her closer to the levee

just giving my unit some rest after its workout ,, pic has me and my oldest son in it ,,,,,,,,,,, hope everyone enjoyed these pics ,, as for me it was not a pretty sight ,, the unit had dropped down 2ft by the time i got my machine around to assist the neighbor and start hooking up to it ,,peace out rocky

Thanks for bringing the camera along  Oh man, how'd they end up in that mess? It looks like the bobcat was still running in the last pic. Just pressure washed and good to go...or?

well they were cleaning out the ditch behind the crawfish ponds and basically dragging the lil machine thru the marsh ,, wasnt much of tracking ,,,, and when they got to the end of the canal at the dead side ,, thinking it was good to cross the ole canal ,,, that was filled in for over 20 years ,, and broke thru ,, yeah i was suprised at the lil bobcat it was still running till i swung the boom around and got her headed towards the levee ,, to drag her closer,,,, that was my only concern was the computer on the unit ,, the engine was always salvagable if it get water sucked into the intake but ,,you can never clean the electrical panel ,,, my dad had his bobcat in the hurricane that he had to hard wire and put a throttle system on it cause the cost of rewiring and a new computer was right at 16000,, so i had passion for the dude and it was a rush to save him and the unit ,, but the lil unit survived with just mud slush and good cleaning waiting, hope this helps clear up the reasons why they do what they do ,,,,,,,,, its coonass country aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh rocky

Anytime you get a WOW followed by fourteen exclamation marks from Our Leader Lavoy, you know you've done something great. Geeeeeeeeeez what a series of pictures. I thought my little dump truck fandango last summer was impressive. Now I feel like a piker. =Rob

dont feel bad about it ,, talking wit the fellow that had operated the machine for him ,, told me that it wasnt the first machine that he has sunken ,,the last one was a 325 cat ,, that they had to rent 2- d6 dozers and another 330 long reach to dig her out ,, he explained to me that he sunk her in over the cab and had to climb out the top hatch,,,,still in all, we go thru the days watching dumb things that happen to others,, not realizing that if we dont pay attention and make wrong choices that this is the conseqences,, just as long as no one gets killed in the process have a good day fellows
