my 1958 420c with logging package. As time allows, I'm getting more paint on it - usually after I take something apart. Paul

The sheet metal reminds me of the JD model M tractor.

Looks good! I have the exact same canopy on mine with an outside Holt blade. I believe the canopy was made by Holt also. Mine carries a carco winch, hard to tell but yours looks a bit different.

Swampy:
Thanks for the feedback. The canopy is well designed and well made. Unlike other ROPS, this one channels the water off to the side and back so you don't get quite as wet when it's raining. I wondered if it was locally made or was a part of a logging package. I'm planning to run wires up the tubes and mount high lights for nighttime snowbank pushing, and neighbor towing (lots of stuck visitors around ski areas).

Underdog:
I'll take a look at the M. I spent some time straightening and smoothing and aligning the sheetmetal, but I'm looking for a working machine not a show piece, so I only take pictures at dusk or after a successful project when I feel good. I'm pretty pleased with this machine so far. I bought it for a good price in the spring, the repairs needed were fairly modest, and It's already paid for itself. Of course it needs undercarriage work - 2+/- rolls and new chains, but I'll get to that next summer.
