Hi Puttputt-
If the machine in question is in the front of the picture, it is likely a 1010 (sprocket dished inward, spoked front idlers, and I believe I counted 36 links on yours (1010) versus more for the 2010 (I believe 42 links per track?) I guess I should count my machine lol. If the serial numbers for the 1010s work like the 2010s, then my understanding is that serial numbers for the early machines were put on a plate on the engine block- unfortunately if the engine was replaced then you have lost any way of knowing the serial number. I believe the later year models had the serial number put on the bellhousing. The parts number stamped on the individual crawler parts may give you some idea of year.
I can tell you roughly (based on the Johnnypopper site) that 1010s were produced between 1960 and 1965. Delineation between years is based on serial number, so if that is gone it will be difficult. Some parts will vary between early and later serial numbers, so that will help narrow it down. That will be more important for parts ordering than the year anyhow.

1010 or 21020
I have a 2010 and the front idler is solid plus my aircleaner is on the other side and mounted just before the instrument panel. I also have the plastic aircleaner dirt collector on mine. This one lookes like a metal cap.
This does not look like mine, more probably a 1010.
