Going to Mississippi tomorrow to pick up a 1952 SC Case, just like the one I grew up climbing on and later learning to drive. I drove that tractor a million miles before I was ever allowed to start it. Hell it is only one year older than me. I am not sure if it is a little touch of childhood or just part of the rememberance of my father. Either case, I am happy to give it a home here.

Re: SC Case
Randy, you're not alone in looking for ways to help remember a lost parent, I find myself doing similar things.Randynscottsboro wrote:......just part of the rememberance of my father. Either case, I am happy to give it a home here.

Got it home, only a 985 miles in one day and I did sleep in this morning. One really neat thing was when I was looking it over, there was a birds nest in the lower right rear side of the radiator. The tractor we had would always have one in the same location every year and I would watch it daily till the birds hatched. Something I have thought of for 40 some years.
A few things to fix, all minor and some paint and I'll be ready to get into trouble remembering to pull the hand clutch instead of stomping the left brake.
