I have 3 of the side emblem plates that go on each side of the hood. I have carefully worked out any dents, sanded out any scratches and steel wooled the edges and letters that are to be shiny aluminum. My question is, does anyone know if the black background is to be flat, matte, semi-gloss, gloss, or whatever? I just can't tell by looking at the color pictures I have and I want to get it perfect, so any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Paul

I am not sure, but would guess semi-gloss or gloss.
