As you can see this crawler has not been cut on. There were never any rock guards on the tractor. The rails have never been cut, and the top idler was never on the tractor.

I have looked at many crawlers and have come to wonder how many variations of tracks, idlers, guards, rail length there was produced for a four roller and even five roller tractors. Would be interesting.

This crawler is definitely not hacked up or ever been. That's why I bought it!

4 roller never had upper idler, 5 roller always had it. It appears that both trackframe could be had in long for sprocket shields, and short without. Rockguards were an option on 4 roller, standard on 5 roller.

That is an awesome find with the entire 3 pt hitch.

I would leave it alone if the paint is original. Mine was green sprayed over with yellow, someday it is going back to green, if it had been yellow it would stay that way.

Nothing unusual about the track frames, just need to get rid of the custom seat back and whatnot.

Personally, I like the yellow tractors more. They seem to be more rare around here and stand out. It's not *that* hard to match paint.
