Ken
Looking good
Im assuming that you have reverse on your gearshift, and judging by the lower shift fork that you have a PTO option too? On my 350C i had to remove the reverse gear on the powershaft (held on with snap ring) to get the shaft out of the case. In any event that old girl wont know how to act getting all the TLC, and now you wont have to worry about any surprises popping up when you need it.

If by dent you mean like mine (we see it under the winch):
I was thinking about putting some wooden blocks on each side and one in the middle where I want the ''correction'' to be stopped. Then use the dozer as the tool the straighten it. This plate is thick... It Must have been used in woods on rough terrain as it was a D6.

I do not believe that an 8 to 10 LB hammer would even begin move the skid plates on my 440 ICD. Must be a much thinner skid plate, or someone much bigger than me swinging that hammer.
