Az, here is a discussion we had a few years ago on interchangeability of 2010 engines- you may find this helpful:

Tiger I collect literature. How much would it take to get you to part with that 2010 sales piece? :?:

Hi Az-

I think I will be holding on to this brochure, as it has a lot of useful info and I have only seen one or two of them before. However I would be happy to share any information that is on the brochure.

I know you have a very rare piece of history there. I was just testing you.
I wouldn't mind seeing a copy of that cutaway. I know JD did alot of those cutaway drawings to show the inner workings of their engines, hydraulics, combine threshing etc etc. I thought maybe somewhere along the line they had done one for these crawlers. So if you get a chance that would be great. Also if you ever see another of the 2010 crawler brochures give me a headsup. I always check E-Bay, alot of manuals on there, but rarely literature. Can you buy one of those 2010 brochures for $100 bucks or are they bringing more than that? Al Zimmerman

Hi Al-

I don't know how rare they are, but I have seen the brochure I mentioned only once or twice on Ebay over the last five years. They seem to go between $30-$60 when they sell; I paid $40 for mine.

I may have to rethink if you are offering $100

Starting Instruction

Post by Smokewrench » Sun Jul 31, 2011 1:17 pm

The decal is still on the dash of my 2010 diesel, has instructions for several temperature ranges, funny the instructions are the same: 20 deg. F or 90 deg. F, use the glow plugs for 30 seconds.

The manual I received with my 2010 diesel states something along the lines of glow plugs on for 2mins below 50f and to turn them on again until engine smooths out. I do not have a primer and live in Canada and have no issues starting my 2010 even below 32f if I follow this. If it's 85f plus I still flow for a solid minute.
