Hi: Fun to watch your rebuild.

In the past I've had problems with solid lines chafing against the frame from vibrations causing "hidden" annoying air or fluid leaks. To avoid this problem I made sure that the lines were fastened securely with isolation clamps or surrounded in a rubber hose to prevent this chafing.

Thought I'd share while you had things exposed. Good luck. Paul

Paul,

My GM 2-53 runs smooth like a properly tuned John Deere Waterloo 2 popper that you can sit on 3 glass bottles.

Seriously, thank you for the advice, you likely saved me much retooling down the road. I will get some isolators and hide them in places that keep the lines safe but cannot be seen.

Now you're bragging.

Careful work and attention to the details, like you've shown, seem to pay off. Congratulations. Paul
