When I purchased it last weekend I knew it had issues and that reflected in the purchase price, but look at this damage to the top crossmember for the loader...
Bolts are broken and loose/missing all over the place.....
And the front roller came from ????
As well the chains look ok but, the pins are badly worn.
So I wanted to make one good one from two but, this one might become the parts machine. We will take it apart later this summer and decide then.
The plan right now is to make one good crawler out of theese two..
First one; it runs OK, steers and shifts with good loader/bucket, but bad underneath...Second one; (started after 11 years), great undercarriage, both steering clutches bad, loader/bucket pins very loose and reverser, transmission, finals un-tested.
Their should be one good crawler in the two of these. I hope to get at this project before the fall and will make some posts.
