Just dropping in to say hi. Just started collecting JD's after a friend and long time collector convinced me to get a collection of my own. Just acquired a 59 430C and a 35 BW. Hoping to get a BO lindeman soon love the crawlers!!!

That is a super nice looking 4 roller 430C with orginal paint. If I had it, I would hesitate ever painintg over that piece of history!

Thanks and you are absolutely correct no paint for this one. Found it on craigslist it was sitting in a truck body for over 7 years after being removed from a farm where it was bought new, it's in great shape. I sprayed it down with wd40 to prevent further rust just have to rebuild the carb, freshen up the gas, get a new battery and hopefully she starts.

That is one straight 430. Makes me miss mine. You ever want to sell it let me know, would like to find another one. Dont think the guy that bought mine is looking to sell anytime soon.

Love the spokes on the tractor. Must be interesting if you put lights on it and drive at night.

When I drove my 60 at night. The hand holes in the rear wheels did interesting things with my peripheral vision. Made it look like there was little rodents running along the tractor.
