my question

Post by markmc60 » Tue Nov 06, 2012 12:20 pm

I think you missed my question, is the barrel type plug correct, Is the plug that looks like it came out of a barrel the right plug/cap for the JD450 on the winch and the tranny fill, seems that they would have used something not so prone to leaking.

I know nothing is cheap with john Deere, that why they paint their ag tractors green, to remind you.

Most likely that is the correct piece, they were used in several different Deere applications that I can think of. IF they are good enough to hold 55 gallons of oil in a drum, it will work fine as a fill plug too.
