Hi,

So, *that's* what one looks like with paint on it! :P

I dimly recall when mine had paint on the track frames, but I was only a kid in grade school at the time and it's been long gone for a long time. There's paint on the rest of mine, under the usual dirt/oil film. My yellow stripe on the hood is now white, too. With the green paint faded several shades darker, the thing looks more like an Oliver than a Deere :P

Your machine is the same as mine, except I have the 12" snow pads (the ones with the oval holes in the center). I also don't recall it ever having the sprocket covers. They might have been there originally, but Dad was happier without them. ;)

The wife and I are planning on painting the old girl this fall, so it won't be long before mine looks this good. :)
