Original John Deere 430 Crawler

Post by dr.fireman10 » Sat Aug 31, 2013 8:01 am

Wanted to post a picture of this original JD 430C. It spent most of its life running a PTO driven silo filler. . . the undercarriage is in great condition. The original dealer decals can be read if one looks close enough. Decals for the #62 blade are all visible including the "John Deere" decal across the top of the blade. Machine runs and drives like new! Had to trade my crawler three point hitch that I was saving for "someday" to get it -- but it was just sitting on the shelf.

I had bought it to push snow in the drive in winter and pull a few logs out of the woods using a winch I had from another crawler. . . but I will not be adding anything to the tractor to take away from its originality. The front brush guard supports were/are not original, but as far as we know there were never any there from the beginning.
