woods cabin project

Post by 2manytrucks » Sat Nov 09, 2013 6:50 am

I decided to build a little cabin out in the woods. I found a nice spot, stumped it, and got it roughed in. still have to finish grading.

Nice looking machine, and it looks like you know how to use it. The outside blades put a lot of oomph to the task at hand.
Best wishes as you complete your project.

took out the last stump that had to come out. did a little more grading to smooth it up. I will bring in some gravel to get the final grade and ensure we don't have mud. we have nasty clay here, when its dry, its like cement, when its wet, more like oatmeal

Great looking cabin and spot to put it!! You've made me think about my old plan to put a warming shack where I hunt. I had the loggers level a spot 10 yrs ago but never got to it. Now I'm thinking about it again!! :P

no, its weatherguard OSB subfloor that I painted with porch and floor paint. I would like either a hardwood floor or tile floor in the cabin
