Hey everybody Im new to the board just had a couple of questions i figured some of you guru's could help me with. I am in the process of rebuilding a 450c. There are a couple of places where the blade lift assembly mounts that have pins. The holes are wore out even with a new pin they have alot of slack. What is the best way to go about fixing this. My father in law said you can use a welding machine and build the holes back up but I was wandering if there is another way.

These holes you are working on should have some bushings in them if they don't then you should look into over boring and up sizing the pins .Digitup.

One hole just had a pin and the other hole had a bushing in it. But both the holes are wore out. Could you weld the hole up solid and then bore it back out to the right size. What would I bore these holes out with could it be done myself or would I have to get John deere to do it.
