350-C isolator springs

Post by donnaldp46 » Mon Jan 18, 2010 11:25 am

I have the engine out because of a reverser problemand was wonder if I should change the isolator springs while I am at it? :?: The isolater seemed to make alot of noise at a idle before the other problem caused me to desassemble it. The isolator seems loss and you can turn it some before it comes tight. Is there specs for this and the springs ? I would sure appreciate any advice you can give . THANK YOU

Check the mounts that the springs set on as well. I put springs in my 350 straight, but the mounts showed wear as well. I rotated all of the mounts until I got them to a non-worn area, but would have preferred to have replaced them if I could have waited for the parts.
